Real Ale Ramble

The Real Ale Ramble took place on November 27 and 28, 2021. Over 130 walkers completed either a marked 12 or 20-mile route. There were also 5 and 9 mile guided walks. The Saturday walkers were following the destruction of storm Arwen from the previous evening. Trees were down in the Irfon forest and arrow markers had been blown away. The first snow of the winter could be seen in the distant Drygarn and Moelfre peaks. On Sunday ice had formed on the ground and the temperature did not get much above freezing. The feedback from walkers was very positive and many said they would return to his very friendly event.

The photographs below were taken by Elin Mabbutt on the 9-mile guided walk.
