Art Exhibition

The Heritage Centre is now back open on Thursday to Sunday 10am to 4 pm. The first exhibition post-Covid is a joint ceramics and glass display by Wendy Chamberlain and Irene Funnell. Both of these artists have studios locally and the work on display is skilful, vibrant in colour with most of the artworks inspired by nature. Wendy Chamberlain’s ceramics are partly inspired by her love of spirals and ferns, especially the unfurling new fern shoots, which the New Zealand Maori call the Koru. Wendy is a member of the South Wales Potters and an associate member of the Craft Potters Association. To see more of Wendy’s work go to https://korucraftwendy.wixsite.com/korucraft

Irene Funnell returns to the Heritage Centre for her third exhibition. Her beautiful and colourful glass pieces are inspired by nature and in particular the hills and coastline of Wales. She is a member of the Contemporary Glass Society. To see more of Irene’s work go to www.irenefunnell.com
