Bog Triathlon

On Saturday, August 24 the annual Bogsnorkelling Triathlon took place with 31 competitors. The competitors in the full version had to run 8 miles on mixed terrain passing below the Garn Dawd , the last Cumbrian Mountain peak, 12-mile cycle mostly in the Crychan forest and a 60yd bog snorkel.  The Junior Bite-size had to complete a 3-mile run, 6-mile cycle and a 60yd bog snorkel.

Results were as follows:

First Male – Andy Watkins in a time of 2.00. 28, First Female – Jodie Dennis 4.14.43, First Junior – Matthew Brayshaw 1.05.27.
